Kevin M Downard
Professor Kevin Downard conducted his postdoctoral studies and held a subsequent academic position at the Massachusetts Institute of Technology after completing his PhD degree at the University of Adelaide in Australia. For the past 25 years he has held professorial positions in the USA and Australia and, most of that time, his research has focused on the development and application of new advanced mass spectrometric and bioinformatic approaches to improve molecular based responses to infectious disease causing respiratory viruses including new surveillance and evolution biology methods, and antiviral therapies.
