Kirsten Bailey

Kirsten is a veterinarian and a Research Fellow in Antimicrobial Stewardship at the University of Melbourne and the National Centre for Antimicrobial Stewardship. She graduated from the University of Queensland in 2000 and later completed an equine internship and a PhD on infectious causes of diarrhoea in foals at the University of Melbourne. Kirsten’s research focus includes equine infectious diseases and antimicrobial stewardship in companion animals, horses and production animals.
